    We are beyond grateful for our educators and support staff who work each day to provide students with the possibility for a better future. To express our gratitude, Kelly Education and our school district and tutoring partners come together each year to recognize the outstanding contributions that our employees bring to our nation's schools and students.

    We recognize that creating a solid education experience goes beyond the walls of a classroom. It is an entire academic experience, and each of our education employees makes important contributions to the students and education communities they serve. To honor the important work of these employees, our annual Educator of the Year program recognizes the amazing people who are making a difference in substitute teacher, paraeducator, and tutor roles.

    About the award program.

    Who better to recognize the important contributions that substitute employees make than the people who rely on them every day to keep students learning?

    Kelly Education partners with our school districts across the country to recognize educators who truly stand out and are making a notable impact. School faculty can nominate outstanding Kelly employees through thoughtful recommendation letters and videos that showcase the ways in which our educators go above and beyond what they are called to do. 

    • Exceeds their daily professional responsibilities.
    • Demonstrates outstanding teaching methods that result in significant student progress.
    • Tailors teaching approaches to meet the needs of students.
    • Employs creative techniques to keep students engaged and motivated.
    • Boosts students' self-confidence and encourages a positive attitude towards learning.
    • Goes above and beyond to support students' academic and personal growth.
    • Demonstrates patience and perseverance when working with students.
    • Maintains a positive and enthusiastic demeanor that encourages a love of learning.
    • Follows lessons plans, leaves good notes, and deploys strong classroom management techniques.

    Nominations are due on March 26, 2025. Four winners are announced during Teacher Appreciation Week, each receiving a $5,000 bonus, plus an additional $1,500 to donate to the school of their choice within the school district or center they are servicing. The 2025 Teacher Appreciation Week is May 5-9.
